Tomo's PlaceWelcome to Tomo's little online home!
November 24 Wedding PlansHi guys,
Not posted for a while so thought I better had.
Just an update on our wedding plans really. We have set a date of the 8th August 2008. 08/08/08, done it on purpose so i will never forget the aniversaries! Typical of me really to remember it because of 888.com casino on net!!
We are getting married and holding the reception at St. Davids Park Hotel, Ewloe. Click here if you wanna look http://www.devere.co.uk/Hotels/StDavids/default.aspx?linkid=InteractiveMap
We've got the photographer booked too and thats about it for now. We don't want to do too much this early because we will probably spend a fortune on all pretty matching thingies and then change our mind about the colour so we're going to leave other arrangements for a while.
If you've got any questions about it get in touch. anthonytomo@hotmail.com
No requests for invites though, I know its the OK magazine wedding of the year but please respect our privacy. October 30 House nearly finished!!Me and Michelle have been in our house for over 3 years now and we have finally finished decorating!! Well, nearly! Just had the hallway decorated, just need a nice carpet in there and its all done, then we can start again on the first room and go all the way back through! Its not that were are lazy or couldn't afford to get it done, its just we couldn't agree on what bloody wallpaper we wanted. Eventually found one though, and guess what, it's 20 quid a sodding roll! Typical.
Thinking about it, we still have plenty of work to do, just because the inside look nice it doesn't meanwe are finished.....
Back garden... loads to do.
Front garden / Driveway..... loads to do.
Exterior painting ...... loads to do.
Any volunteers??? Binny - RIPWhat a weekend!
For those of you that don't know I had a dog called binny, a lovely black lab that was my 16th Birthday present. Well, a few months back she developed a tumor on her shoulder, we operated on it, but unfortunately it came back. Over the last couple of weeks it started to go down hill quite quickly and so on our last visit to the vets, we knew what was going to happen. We had her put down on Friday, felt really guilty because she seemed fine, hapilly walking round the house like nothing was wrong with her, still eating like normal, although I don't think she would ever stop eating! But, the time was right because if we left it a few more days she would have started to suffer, so I think we done the right thing.
She was a great dog, a loyal friend to the end and she will be sadly missed.
October 18 back 2 work, arrgghhJust gone back to work after a few nice days off, how bad is that feeling?! Had a nice weekend, me and mich have a new hobby....walking!
We went to Blakemere craft centre to pay for the wedding photographer... £900 and you don't even get a bloody album! Anyway, while we were there we decided to do a walk we had seen in a book. It tarted from the craft centre and basically followed the Whitegate Way, an old railway line purposely converted to a walking trail. It brought us back to the craft centre after 11 miles. Ow! My legs felt like they were going to burst! We have only done one previous walk which wasn't too bad at 5 miles. maybe I should build myself up a bit slower!
Finally got our car sorted out too, DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM VW WARRINGTON! I don't need to say anymore. To be fair we have only had a couple of problems with the actual car, its the aftersales and service which is bad. I spent 5 hours in warrington yesterday, by myself while the seat was being fixed. I don't normally do things like that as i get bored very easily but i really enjoyed it. I have just started doing a A+ certification course in computing, so I went to borders, got a book and sat in starbucks studying, a good bit of relaxing, chilled out time to myself. I did spend about £30 on coffee though! no wonder I enjoyed it, I was high as a kite! October 17 My BlogHi people!
Well, as you can see this is the first entry into my blog. I will be using this space as a kind of personal diary, letting friends, family and generally nosy people know what I'm doing! I guess I am supposed to let people know about things what I have done, holidays, parties, days out etc. I will try my best to keep it up to date and make regular entries but time is money, busy, busy, busy,etc...
I guess a good place to start is to tell you all whats happening in my life at the moment. Well, Im now 27, and still in sunny Runcorn. I'm living with my partner Michelle Orme, who i have been with for nearly 4 years now and who i am set to marry in 2008! 08/08/08 to be precise. Updates on our plans will be posted here. Really happy with my life at the moment apart from being skint saving for weddings and decorating, and gardening, and .... you get the idea. it will all be worth it! Or so she keeps telling me! Work is fine, it pays the bills and gets me some beers. Still in touch with most of my mates from school, Yeno, George, Owensy etc. Playing a little footy still, only 6aside though. Can't be arsed getting out of bed on a cold Sunday morning to have the ball smacked at my stinging legs and then to get beat 18-2 anyway!
That will do for now, this is after a blog and not a essay on my life! Get in touch if you want to or feel free to leave comments. I will try to keep this updated, with anything of interest. Bye for now . |
